大卫·包瑞德上校和代表团其他成员视察第359旅的军服工厂。工厂中所有的工人都是士兵，旅里所有军服都由这家工厂生产，而且全旅将士的食品供给也是由士兵们耕作获得。士兵开荒种田，出产的粮食不仅足以供应全旅官兵，还上交给延安边区政府很多吨余粮。

Colonel David D.Barrett and members of the Section inspect the359th Brigade's uniform factory.All workers in the factory are soldiers and all uniforms worn by the brigade are made here.In addition,all food eaten by the brigade is grown by the soldiers,who have moved into aformerly barren plus asurplus of many tons that is contributed to the Government in Yenan.
